Khaki overcoat in a light wool, polyester and silk cloth at 216 grams to the metre. This is not a winter coat: at this weight it is a long, light layer for spring and autumn, something to wear open over a jacket or a knit, and the silk gives the khaki a soft light.
Made without a chest canvas, so it hangs from the shoulders like a dust coat. The lower pockets carry a 0.8 cm topstitch. Cut to your measurements.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
