Brick red runs earthier than wine: a red with rust in it, nearer terracotta than burgundy. Same stretch cotton twill as the rest of the trouser range, cut and hemmed to your measurements. It warms an otherwise plain outfit without turning loud, and cream, navy and grey all work above it. The stretch does its quiet work at the knee and seat.

Twill
Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
