A khaki polo, plain, in a warm khaki that leans toward sand and tan rather than toward olive. It goes with navy, white or brown trousers, under a cotton jacket or with nothing over it at all.
The collar is cut in one piece with long 11 cm points, and it sits open above a pointed placket, 2.8 cm wide, that closes on a single button. The collar and placket edges are topstitched 0.6 cm in, the shoulder and armhole seams 0.5 cm. Each short sleeve finishes in a 2.5 cm turn-up, stitched in place, and the hem has 4.5 cm vents at the sides. There is no pocket. Worn loose over shorts, or tucked into pleated trousers with a belt. Cut to your measurements.
