Sage trousers in wool with 4% spandex, 310 grams to the metre. The yarn is high-twist, which helps the cloth resist creasing, so the trousers hold a pressed look with very little care. The green is deep and greyed rather than bright, and sits well with white, pale blue and brown.
Double pleats on each side fold toward the fly. The waistband is cut in one with the trouser, so there is no seam at the waist. The belt loops start 2 cm below the top edge, and the first loop on each side of the front is a strap that buttons down at its foot; the others are plain. Front pockets slant at 2.5 cm and are edged with 0.6 cm pick stitching, and the hems finish in 3.8 cm turn-ups. Trousers for travel and for every day. Cut to your measurements.
