The most fully made jacket in the archive, in a brown striped wool at 350 grams to the metre: a full canvas through the chest and front, two buttons, side vents, a 0.6 cm pick stitch along the edges and a finer 0.15 cm pick stitch around the pocket openings. A full canvas moulds to the wearer over time and holds the lapel's roll.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
