Light grey trousers in a blend of nylon, wool, polyester and cotton, with nylon the largest share. The cloth has an uneven, textured surface, and the odd broken yarn is part of its character rather than a fault. The grey is pale and close to neutral, with a faint warmth from the flecks in the cloth.
A single pleat each side, 4.4 cm deep and folding toward the side seam, gives room through the thigh. Front pockets sit on a 3.2 cm slant, with pick stitching 0.6 cm from the edge. The waistband closes on a short rounded extension, has a soft inner band, and opens in a V at the centre back seam. Unlined. Relaxed trousers for weekends and travel: a white tee and white sneakers, or a navy knit and loafers. Cut to your measurements.
