Silver wool trousers at 310 grams to the metre with a little spandex: a pale, cool grey with a light in it, a shade up from light grey. Silver wool reads formal with a dark jacket and relaxed with a white knit, and either way it flatters a tan.
Flat front, front pockets slanted at 3.2 cm, a welted watch pocket on the right, and a straight fly. A quiet cut for a cloth that does the work. Cut to your measurements.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
