Red casual jacket in a wool, silk and linen cloth at 265 grams to the metre, the summer suiting mix worn as a single piece. The linen gives it a dry hand, the silk a low light on the surface, and the red is a proper red, deep rather than bright, that looks best over white or navy.
Unstructured: no chest canvas and an unpadded natural shoulder, so the jacket follows the body and packs flat. A jacket for a summer evening out of doors. Cut to your measurements.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
