Rotating cloth library selections

Terio is one of the quieter names in our cloth library. There is no long heritage story to tell here, and we will not invent one. The house appears in our range through a rotating selection of lengths that changes as bolts are cut and replaced.

That rotation is the point. Books like this fill the gaps the famous mills leave open: an odd colour, or a weight the bigger houses have skipped that season. When a Terio length ends up in a garment, it is usually because nothing else on the shelf answered the brief as well.

Every length that enters the library sits the same exam, whatever the name on the selvedge: it has to cut cleanly and hold its shape through a working week. A small house does not get an easier paper, and a famous one does not get marked up for its label.

The current Terio book is best seen in person, laid over a shoulder in daylight, which is how cloth should be chosen anyway. Ask at a fitting and we will show you what is on the shelf this season.
