Beige trousers in a heavyweight wool, 370 grams to the metre, which puts them firmly in the colder months. The beige is pale with a little grey in it, close to oatmeal, and it sits easily with brown shoes, navy and a white shirt.
Cut flat across the front and relaxed through the leg. The waistband is 4.5 cm deep and closes on two hooks with no extension; it carries wide 3.2 cm belt loops and is split in a V at the centre back. Front pockets sit on a 2 cm slant, and the back pockets are double besom, each with a button. Trousers to wear with a heavy knit or a sports jacket. Cut to your measurements.
