Green trousers in a four-way blend of cotton, Tencel, polyester and spandex, 177 grams to the metre. The Tencel brings a cool, slightly fluid drape, the polyester keeps the crease out, and the cotton keeps the hand honest. The green is a soft mid tone that pairs with cream, white and tan.
Flat front with no pressed crease, a metal zip behind a straight fly and a waistband that closes on a single button with no extension. Front pockets slanted at 3.2 cm, besom back pockets with a button, and a fixed hem topstitched at 2 cm. Cut to your measurements.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
