Design
The popover in navy cotton. A half placket instead of a full button front, so it pulls on over the head and lands somewhere between a polo and a dress shirt. Collar and cuffs keep their shape without any help from a tie. Navy is hard to get wrong: it deepens in evening light, works over grey or sand trousers, and hides the creases of a long day.
