Traditionally, a made to measure suit would entail a visit to your favourite tailor for a fitting. As we enter a new era of shopping, getting your measurements is now as easy as taking your phone out of your pocket. Much like Uber, there is now an app for that.

Introducing THDR Pocket Tailor App

Can you really achieve a perfect fit by having your smartphone scan your body? Hard to believe, but THEODORE’s contactless body measurement technology makes it possible.

We are reinventing the tailoring experience with the THDR Pocket Tailor App, using AI & AR technology to accurately provide contactless measurements on your phone. This allows you to shop and order your made to measure garments completely contact free and from anywhere in the world. 

Wearing compression gear for the virtual measurement is advised to get the perfect fit. This allows THEODORE to capture the most accurate results, with over 60 unique body measurements in under one minute.

To get started, all you need to do is open the app and follow the onscreen instructions.

1. Place your smartphone vertically straight on a table. Step back approximately 6 feet or about 182 centimetres until your whole body is visible.
2. Space your legs 1 foot apart and raise both arms at 45 degrees with your head upright. Afterwards, turn to your right.
3. Stand straight with your feet together and arms down by your sides.
4. The app will automatically scan and measure your body with each movement. Fill out your height and weight to complete the fitting and wait for the app to generate your unique measurement code.

Now that you have your measurements, simply browse the THEODORE website and choose your favourites from our signature pieces (our Classic Black Suit, for example) and collections. Select personalised customisations and enter your measurements code to place an order.
