Taupe T-shirt in 100% wool at 165 to 175 grams to the metre. The taupe is soft and close to neutral, a grey with a little warmth in it rather than a brown, and it goes with navy, white, olive and charcoal alike.
The crew neck is finished with a 2.2 cm band cut from the same wool, topstitched along its seam at the front, and the back of the neck is taped in the same cloth. The short sleeves end in a 2.5 cm turned hem and the body in a straight 2.5 cm turned hem with no side vents, both with a double row of stitching. The back is plain. Wear it under an unstructured jacket or a cardigan, or on its own with cream or navy trousers. Cut to your measurements.
