Heavy for white, and the reason these work: a cotton of 310 grams to the metre with a little elastane, cut as white trousers. the cloth is opaque, it hangs, and it does not show the shape of a pocket lining through the leg. White at this weight is a spring and autumn trouser as much as a summer one.
Flat front with no pressed crease. A metal zip sits behind a straight fly, and the waistband closes on one button with no extension. Front pockets slanted at 3.2 cm, besom back pockets with a button, a fixed hem topstitched at 2 cm. Cut to your measurements.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
