Dark green corduroy in cotton with 2% spandex, 310 to 320 grams to the metre. The green is deep, close to a bottle green, and indoors it reads almost as a dark neutral. A cloth for the colder months, soft in the hand, with a little give from the spandex.
A single pleat folds toward the side seam. The waistband is 5 cm wide, faced inside in the same corduroy and edged with lining piping. It extends 13 cm past the fly into a slim tab with a rounded point, which fastens on a button through its buttonhole, with a second button 3 cm along. Two hooks hold the waist at the zip. One belt loop sits at the right front, 5 cm from the fly, and there are no others. Wear them with a cream knit or a white oxford and brown shoes. Cut to your measurements.
