Cut plain and worn soft, these khaki wool trousers have a flat front with no pressed crease, in a stretch wool at 310 grams to the metre. Without a crease the wool falls like a heavy cotton, which makes these the khaki trousers for a knit and a pair of suede shoes rather than a jacket and tie.
Straight fly, two open back pockets, a V split at the back of the waist for later alteration, and a fixed hem topstitched at 2 cm. Cut to your measurements.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
