Olive long-sleeve polo in 95% cotton and 5% spandex, 180 grams to the metre, with a little stretch from the spandex. The olive is a warm army green that goes with navy, cream, grey and brown, and carries a polo from autumn into spring.
It is built like a shirt at the collar and cuffs. The spread collar has 6.5 cm points on a collar stand with its own button, over a 2.8 cm placket with two more; collar and placket are interlined and edge-stitched. The 6 cm cuffs have cut corners and one buttonhole with two buttons, so each can be set at two widths. No pocket, a plain back with no yoke, and a straight hem without vents, turned 2 cm and double-stitched. Wear it in place of a shirt under a sports jacket, or on its own with wool trousers. Cut to your measurements.
