Light wool and polyester at 186 grams to the metre, in red, which makes this casual jacket a layer rather than a coat: something for a cool evening in summer, thrown over a white shirt. The red is deep and even.
Unstructured throughout, with no chest canvas and an unpadded natural shoulder, so there is nothing to hold its shape but the cloth and the cut. Cut to your measurements.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
