The Yarraville Black Blend Single-Pleat Trousers

Black trousers for the evening, in a blend that is 58% polyester and 42% wool. The polyester resists creasing through a long night and the wool gives the cloth its body. The surface carries a low sheen, enough to set these apart from an everyday black trouser without asking for attention.

A single pleat on each side folds toward the fly and gives room through the thigh. There are no belt loops: the waistband ends in a square extended tab that fastens on two hooks, and the inner waistband is soft. The front pockets sit in the side seams, and the back pockets are besom, each closing on a cloth-covered button. Wear them with a dinner jacket, or a black roll-neck when the evening is less formal. Cut to your measurements.
