Wool, cashmere and silk at 380 grams to the metre, in brown: a winter flannel weight with a hand far softer than the number suggests. The cashmere gives it warmth and nap, the silk a dry lustre. This is the brown to wear with a grey jacket when it is properly cold.
Flat front, front pockets slanted at 3.2 cm, a welted watch pocket on the right, and a straight fly. Cut to your measurements.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
