Stretch polyester at 180 grams to the metre, in coffee brown: a casual jacket for travel and for evenings that cool down. The cloth does not crease and does not care about rain, and the brown is deep enough to read as smart over a white shirt.
Unstructured, with no chest canvas and an unpadded natural shoulder, so it packs flat and comes out of the bag wearable, which is the whole point of it. Cut to your measurements.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
