Yellow cotton trousers in a plain cotton at 207 grams to the metre, a soft yellow rather than a loud one. Yellow is the summer colour most men skip and the one that pays off with a white shirt and brown shoes.
A single pleat toward the side seam, 1.5 cm deep, under a 4.5 cm waistband with a rounded front that closes on two buttons and a hook, so it sits firm without a belt. Two open back pockets. Light trousers with a proper waist. Cut to your measurements.
