Lighter than most of the range at 203 grams to the metre, these khaki cotton trousers are almost all cotton with a trace of spandex. Light enough for an Australian summer, with just enough give to sit and stand all day. Khaki in this weight is the trouser you pack first.
Cut flat across the front with no pressed crease. The fly closes on a metal zip behind a straight fly, the waistband on a button without an extension. Front pockets on a 3.2 cm slant, besom back pockets with a button, and a fixed hem topstitched at 2 cm. Cut to your measurements.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
