Box pleat, extended waistband, turn-up: the fullest of the classic trouser cuts, here in grey wool from Nobility at 275 grams to the metre. The box pleat is 3.2 cm deep and sits at the centre of each front; the 3.8 cm turn-up weights the hem so the wide leg hangs straight.
The extended waistband closes on a button with no further extension, and there are two open back pockets. Mid grey, for every jacket. Cut to your measurements.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
