A khaki polo in a fine piqué knit of 40% polyester, 27% cotton and 27% viscose, with 6% spandex for a little stretch, at 175 grams to the metre. The khaki is muted and earthy, a dull brown with a faint olive cast, and it goes with navy, white, cream and denim.
The small rounded collar is cut in one with an Italian-style placket, and both are interfaced. Three buttons close it, the top one at the neck. The 2.8 cm placket is hand pick-stitched and ends 5.5 cm below the last button. The short sleeves end in a plain 2.5 cm turned hem, the front shoulder seams are edge-stitched, and the body finishes in a straight hem, turned 2 cm and double-stitched, with no side vents. There is no pocket, and the back is plain, without a yoke. Wear it open at the neck under a linen jacket, or with chinos on its own. Cut to your measurements.
