Brown striped wool jacket in a Guabello cloth at 280 grams to the metre with a thread of elastane, cut as a two-button jacket with no chest canvas and an unpadded natural shoulder. A 0.6 cm topstitch runs down the back seam to the hem, the one visible line on an otherwise soft jacket.
A brown stripe is quieter than a grey one and warmer than a navy; wear it with cream trousers or the archive's grey flannels. Cut to your measurements.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
