Reda wool at 240 grams to the metre in a coffee brown check, a light worsted with a tonal brown check. Reda's cloth is smooth and dry and takes a press, so this is the casual jacket that can still go to lunch with a client.
A one-piece stand collar with no collar on top, in the band-collar manner, an unpadded natural shoulder and no chest canvas. Wear it buttoned to the neck over a white tee. Cut to your measurements.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
