Green check casual jacket in a Reda wool at 240 grams to the metre, a light worsted with a tonal green check. A stand collar with no collar over it, a plain back with no vent and no centre seam, and a 2.5 cm stitched hem: the cut of a work jacket in the cloth of a suit.
No chest canvas and an unpadded natural shoulder. Green over cream or tan trousers, with a white tee or a knit. Cut to your measurements.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
