Corduroy in light sand. The pile catches light along the wales, so the colour shifts slightly as you move, paler on the ridge, deeper in the groove. Cord brings texture that flat cotton cannot, and in a pale neutral the effect stays quiet. There is give through the cloth, and the trousers are made to your measurements. Navy knitwear and brown shoes finish them well.

Fabric & care
Corduroy
Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
