Coffee brown trousers in a polyamide and spandex cloth at 167 grams to the metre, which is very light and very hard to crease. Polyamide is the fibre of a good travel trouser: it dries fast, packs flat and takes a full day of sitting without complaint. The brown is deep and warm.
Flat front. A 4 cm waistband closes on a hook with no extension, the front pockets slant at 2.5 cm, and the back pockets are welted with the opening left plain, so the seat reads as one clean panel. Trousers for airports and hot cities. Cut to your measurements.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
