A caramel polo in cotton with 5% spandex for stretch, at 200 grams to the metre, a soft mid weight. The colour is a warm caramel with a touch of ginger in it, warmer and brighter than camel, and it wears well with navy, white, stone and denim.
The point collar has 7.1 cm points and no machine topstitching: it is hand pick-stitched 0.3 cm in from the edge, and the outer edge of the placket is pick-stitched the same distance in. The placket is wide, at 4 cm, and ends in a point. Its buttons sit 4 cm apart, the first 5 cm below the neckline and the last 9.5 cm above the point, with a further button at the collar. The short sleeves finish in a 2.5 cm turn-up stitched in place, and the hem is turned 2 cm and double-stitched, with 2 cm vents at the sides. Wear it with pale trousers and loafers, or under a soft jacket in place of a shirt. Cut to your measurements.
