Ivory linen at 220 grams to the metre, with the crisp, breathable feel linen is worn for. The ivory is a soft off-white, a touch warmer than pure white, and sits easily beside navy, tan and sand.
Two pleats on each side fold toward the side seam and open into a relaxed, wide leg. The 3.5 cm waistband closes on a single button with no extension, with standard belt loops and a V notch at the top of the centre-back seam. Front pockets sit on a 3.2 cm slant, and each back pocket sits under a pointed flap that closes with a button. There is no coin pocket. Trousers for warm weather, with a linen shirt and suede loafers. Cut to your measurements.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
