Shipping policy
Last updated: 7 August 2026
This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed with THDR Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 73 695 568 640), trading as THEODORE ("we", "our" or "us"), and forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Made-to-order production comes first
Most THEODORE garments are made to order. Your order enters production after confirmation, is individually reviewed by our team, and is dispatched only after completing quality control. Any production timeframe shown at checkout, in your order confirmation or communicated by our team is an estimate only, measured from order confirmation (or, where measurements are outstanding, from the date we receive complete measurements). Production times vary by garment, fabric availability and order volume.
2. Dispatch and tracking
Once dispatched, you will receive a confirmation with tracking details where available. We select the carrier for each shipment at our discretion and may vary carriers between orders. Delivery timeframes quoted by us or a carrier are estimates, are not guaranteed, and do not include production time. We are not liable for carrier delays, but we will reasonably assist you in following up a delayed shipment. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are unaffected.
3. Delivery details are your responsibility
- You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and for someone being available to receive the parcel where the carrier requires it.
- Costs arising from incorrect or incomplete address details, refused delivery, or uncollected parcels (including re-delivery, redirection or return-to-sender fees) are your responsibility.
- Where you authorise the carrier to leave a parcel unattended (authority to leave), the parcel is delivered when left in accordance with that authority, and risk passes to you at that point.
4. International orders
- We ship internationally to the destinations offered at checkout.
- International prices do not include customs duties, import taxes, brokerage or similar charges, which are levied by the destination country and are solely your responsibility as the recipient. We recommend checking your local thresholds before ordering.
- Customs processing can add time and is outside our control. If a parcel is returned or destroyed because duties were not paid or import requirements were not met, any refund (where we choose to give one) may be reduced by shipping, return and handling costs incurred.
5. Risk and title
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to your nominated address (including delivery under an authority to leave). Title passes on the later of delivery and receipt by us of payment in full.
6. Missing or damaged parcels
If tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you have not received it, or your order arrives damaged, notify us at hello@thdr.co within 7 days so we can investigate with the carrier. For transit damage, please follow the process in our Returns & Warranty Policy (photographs of the item and packaging, proof of purchase, retain the packaging). Claims made outside this window may be declined to the extent the delay prevents us from claiming against the carrier. Your Australian Consumer Law rights are unaffected.
7. Pickup appointments
Where offered, you may collect your order from our Sydney studio by booked pickup appointment. Orders not collected within a reasonable period after we notify you they are ready may, after reminder, be delivered to your address on file or held at our discretion.
