Dusty olive is green knocked back with grey, and the muting suits corduroy: the ribbed surface supplies the interest, so the colour does not have to. Stretch through the cord gives real movement at the knee. Cut and hemmed to your measurements. It wears well with cream, navy and denim, and looks more at home over boots than over anything polished.

Corduroy
Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
