Blue overcoat in a wool and cashmere cloth at 450 grams to the metre, lined to match the body. A true blue, brighter than navy, in a winter weight with the softness ten percent cashmere brings. The coat to wear over grey, and the one that gets noticed in a room of navy.
No chest canvas, so the cloth drapes from the shoulder, and a 0.8 cm topstitch along the collar, front edge and lapel. Cut to your measurements.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
