Camel cotton trousers with a firm hand: 310 grams to the metre, the weight of a proper chino rather than a summer cotton, with regenerated cellulose fibre in the blend for drape and a small amount of spandex for give. The camel is a warm sand, at home next to navy, cream and dark brown.
Flat front, no pressed crease, so they are meant to be worn a little relaxed. The fly closes on a metal zip behind a straight fly, the waistband on a single button without an extension. Front pockets slant at 3.2 cm, back pockets are besom with a button, and the hem is fixed with a 2 cm topstitch. Cut to your measurements.

Steam rather than wash, and press under a cloth. Rest it a day between wears on a shaped hanger. Dry-clean sparingly; once or twice a season is plenty.
